Stauffer Diesel has some very exciting news to share. We recently signed an agreement with FPT Powertrain Technologies that will allow us to distribute industrial engines to the states of PA, NJ, DE, MD, VA, WV, KY, OH, IN, MI, IA, WI, MN, and IL. In addition, we acquired marine engine distribution rights within the Great Lakes region. Our company has been seeking a viable product line to expand our core competencies and our client base, and this agreement with FPT fulfilled each of these criteria perfectly.

As a company, we are very excited to share this new opportunity with our customers as we will begin our partnership with a passionate, innovative, and sustainable company in order to provide industrial and marine engines to many states across the country. This opportunity to grow our business is not something we will take lightly, and we are very blessed to have the ability to share in this growth opportunity with you as we go forward.

There are a few reasons for which Stauffer Diesel decided to pursue this huge opportunity. As a company filled with driven, growth-minded individuals, we never want to settle for “good enough.” We want to push ourselves to learn more, experience more, and grow as a company every day, and what better way to do this than to add the FTP product line to expand our services? Not only will we be expanding our diesel engine distribution, but we also will be testing the waters, so to speak, with our new marine engine line. This is something we are thrilled to be a part of as we will be able to serve the Great Lake regions within this capacity.

FPT Industrial manufactures over 600,000 engines globally each year, which means the company produces one engine per minute. FPT Industrial’s lineup stands out because of benefits such as compactness, wide range of options for flexibility, reduced fuel consumption and long maintenance intervals for reduced costs, and high performance guaranteed in all conditions. The brand’s portfolio comprises power generation engines for both unregulated and regulated markets. For North America, FPT Industrial’s Tier 4 Final engines are equipped with the renowned and patented HI-eSCR after-treatment system. Besides ensuring compliance with the emissions standards, this technology is the result of the brand’s experience of more than 25 years in SCR solutions development; FPT has already sold more than one million SCR units worldwide.
